    Tech lead on the IdeaFactory platform. Software for structured idea processes inside industrial companies, a niche product with sharp leverage. Frontend (Flex) and backend (PHP) led as one stack, a ten-person team coordinated, international clients supported in the application. Three years in Switzerland, three years where no feature shipped without an architecture decision underneath.

    Built the core architecture of an AS2-based system, plus an in-house component framework as the team's homegrown accelerator. Wired up a PSYC socket server and Java backend for realtime. In 2006, still genuinely pioneering work on that stack.

    Rolled out 35,000+ workstations across German insurers: software setup, networks, configuration, at scale. Wrote my own install routines because doing it by hand took too long and went wrong too often. First time at automation at scale, plus the lesson that the only thing that truly scales is repetition without a human in the loop.
